Everyday Health & Superblocks
Everyday Health's engineering team recognized they needed a more sustainable way to build internal tools when their legacy React and Node applications could no longer effectively support newsletter and ad operations. While these apps were crucial to day-to-day workflows, conflicting engineering priorities made incremental improvements impractical. As the tools became outdated, ops teams struggled to properly access and modify website data, limiting their ability to meet key ad servicing KPIs—a significant revenue driver.
In search of a solution that would alleviate engineering burden, improve ops workflows, and was relatively easy to maintain, the team began evaluating low-code platforms. They ended up selecting Superblocks for its flexible custom components, responsive, chat-based support, and low overhead for on-prem deployment via the On-Premise Agent.
