There are two types of environmental variables within Superblocks platform, which are the Project Variables, and the Workspace Variables which we will cover in this section.
Environment variables are defined on a name-value basis (key-value), meaning that the defined variables are to be accessible by name from inside the Pipelines.
The difference between the two is that the Workspace Variables can shared between many different projects that you might have under that specific workspace, while the Project Variables is unique to the specific project, meaning it cannot be used as a reference to the other projects. When you want to make a clear distinction, you will create a Project Variable to override the Workspace Variable
To create a Workspace Variable you simply head over to the Settings -> Workspaces -> Choose the desired workspace -> Variables:
